The former French champion made the first team switch of his career for 2026, leaving Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale after seven seasons to sign a three-year deal with the rebranded British squad. A sharp finisher from reduced groups with a fast, punchy kick, Godon is the team's designated raider for the hilly transition stages. Riding his home Tour in new colours, he has a free role to chase a first Tour stage win.
