Sprinter — the team's number one finisher, targeting stages and the green jersey
Jasper Philipsen

The fastest man of recent Tours returns with unfinished business: in 2025 he won the opening stage in Lille and pulled on his first yellow jersey, only to crash out heavily two days later.

The fastest man of recent Tours returns with unfinished business: in 2025 he won the opening stage in Lille and pulled on his first yellow jersey, only to crash out heavily two days later. Ten Tour stage wins already banked by age 28, plus a Monument at Milan–San Remo, and his 2026 form is ominous — Gent–Wevelgem and the Copenhagen Sprint both fell to him. With Van der Poel and a drilled lead-out train at his service, the green jersey he wore in 2023 is the target.

Palmarès

  • 10 Tour de France stage wins (2022–2025)
  • Tour de France green jersey (2023)
  • Milan–San Remo winner (2024)
  • First yellow jersey after winning Tour opening stage in Lille (2025)
  • Gent–Wevelgem winner (2026)
  • Copenhagen Sprint winner (2026)
Cut-out factEarly-career near-misses earned him the nickname 'Jasper Disaster' — he has since rebranded it 'Jasper the Master', and his home fans call him 'De vlam van Ham' (the flame from Ham).
