The peloton's favourite escape artist attacked from kilometre zero in Toulouse last July and held on for Uno-X's first ever Tour stage win — barely a month after breaking his collarbone. In 2024 he lived in the break for ten days straight in polka dots, and in 2026 he returns as the designated entertainer of a team that promises to keep racing on the front foot.

Palmarès

  • Wore the polka-dot jersey for the first 10 stages of the Tour de France (2024)
  • Brussels Cycling Classic winner (2024)
  • Circuit Franco-Belge winner (2025)
  • 3rd, Norwegian National Road Race Championships (2026)
Cut-out factHe deliberately gained around 20kg to transform himself from a 60-something-kilo climber into a powerhouse rouleur, and now speaks openly about the dangers of under-eating in cycling.
