The ultimate team man rides his 12th and final Tour de France, 15 seasons after joining GreenEDGE for its 2012 debut — the only pro team he has ever known. 'Turbo Durbo' won the U23 world TT crown in 2011 and rolled back the years to take the 2025 Australian road title at 33. In Barcelona he is road captain, engine-room rouleur and anchor of the opening team time trial.

  • Junior world time trial champion (2009)
  • Riding his 12th Tour de France (2026)
Cut-out factHas announced 2026 is his farewell season and plans to make the 2027 Australian Road Nationals his very last race — ending a career spent entirely in one team's colours.
