A Spanish TT champion at 21 and already a two-time Tour finisher, García Pierna starts his third Tour at just 25 after an impressive 26th overall in 2025. He joined Movistar on a deal through 2028 when his French team Arkéa–B&B Hotels folded at the end of last season. Equally at home in a time trial, a break or on rolling stages, he is the team's Swiss Army knife.
